Poco 4.0 - Digital Lighting Control

Poco 4 Digital Lighting Control is a low-cost, easy-to-install and set-up, onboard digital lighting control system that provides full control over all your Lumitec (PLI enabled) lights at the touch of a button from any compatible MFD or connected smart device. Poco 4 is the latest iteration of the award-winning Poco system and introduces new innovative features such as intelligent sound-to-light, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and CAN bus integration.

PLI (Power Line Instruction) is Lumitec's proprietary technology that provides advanced functionally to multi-mode lights. Any Lumitec product that is PLI enabled and connected to a Poco Digital Lighting Control module will allow functions like, color change, color selection, dimming, and advanced features such as preset custom color modes and virtual circuits.

Sound-to-light technology has been around for a while, so what makes Lumitec's Intelligent Sound-To-Light different? The answer lies in the name: "Intelligent." Unlike competitor products, Lumitec's solution doesn't just apply a simple, blanket approach to sound presets for active lights. Instead, Poco 4 allows you to customize your sound-to-light experience by light family and channel.

For example, if you have under-gunwale and downlights on the same Poco channel, Poco 4 lets you apply a preset to a single light family. This means you can have the under-gunwale lights follow the melody while the downlights do not change. In contrast, the underwater lights on a different channel could be following the bass, creating complex and unique light patterns for a much more sophisticated overall effect. Sound presets can even be programmed into the light switch along with the lighting configuration, so all you need to do is hit the switch, relax, and enjoy the show.

Poco 4 makes this all possible on a simple 2-wire DC electrical system, and if you've already installed Lumitec PLI-enabled lights on your vessel, they'll be compatible with Poco 4's Intelligent Sound-To-Light feature.
